Masi Khaja, MD
Dr. Masi Khaja is a fellowship trained and board certified gastroenterologist serving the western slope community. At the age of ten, he and his family moved to New Jersey where he then spent the remainder of his childhood years in the Morristown/Jersey City areas.
It was Masi’s childhood dream to become a physician and in 1999 he earned his medical degree. As well as being a published physician, Dr. Khaja interned at New York Methodist Hospital, which is affiliated with the well respected Cornell University. Dr. Khaja then chose to specialize in the field of Gastroenterology because he felt it was a good combination of medicine and therapy. In 2006, he relocated to Grand Junction.
He loves the 300 days of sunshine the Grand Valley has to offer which allows him to spend his spare time in the great outdoors. He especially enjoys skiing in the winter and outdoor sports in the summer.Having lived the big city life, Dr. Khaja appreciates a small town atmosphere.
